- The Disney Execs clashed with future features of the topic park in SXSW.

Two years after Disney announced a $ 60 billion, the 10-year expansion of its navigation topics and businesses, the entertainment giant is sharing more details about the new features coming to its parks.
Alan Bergman, co-chairman of Disney Entertainment, and Josh D’Amaro, chairman of Disney Parks, Experience and Products, appeared on stage in a salad filled in Austin’s Southwest Culture Festival Saturday.
They joined a parade of other Disney stars, mostly Robert Downey Jr., who is trading in his Iron Man costume about Doctor Doom’s uniform in “Avengers: Doomsday” and “Avengers: Secret Wars”. “Avengers: Doomsday” will hit theaters in May 2026 and “Avengers: Secret Wars” will premiere in May 2027.
Also appeared, “Mandorian” creator Jon Favreau and a gaggle with pint droids; Pete Docter, Pixar leading creative official; and Kevin Feige, President of Marvel Studio.
Here are the biggest discoveries from the Disney SxSw panel.
Stars wars
Disney showed that Millennium Falcon of Walt Disney World: Smuggller’s Run Attraction, where people get to see what it is to ride the iconic ship, would get an update, with “a whole new story” for film characters. The executors described how they used artworks from the Star Wars universe to create a “completely diving experience” where guests “are fully in control of their destiny.
Executors also meant that Disney will last Star Wars and other internet exclusivities with its investments in Epic Games, the creator of “Fortnite”. Meanwhile, droids inspired by Star Wars Will visit Disney’s topics in Tokyo, Paris and Orlando later during the year.
Painting
Docter shared two projects that Pixar has in Disney World works: a land inspired by “Monsters, Inc.” Called monstropolis and what was regarded as Disney’s first suspended journey, which reimagues one of the film scenes.
Another feature based on “cars” will create an off-road pull on a rotation in the film, taking geyser riders-laid on rocky ground.

In Disneyland, fantastic four characters will visit the park this summer. “The Fantastic Four: The first steps” will debut in the cinema on July 25 as part of the sixth phase of the cinematic universe Marvel, or MCU. Disney is also doubling the size of his campus Avengers in California with two new attractions – Avengers: Infinity Defense and Stark Flight Lab.
Avengers: Infinity Defense will allow guests to fight along with Black Panther and Ant-Man to fight Thanos.
Downey discussed Stark Flight Lab, a withdrawal that takes fans to the character workshop. The actor said he gave Disney Input Imagineering team for travel, which will now include DUMs, a node for Tony Stark’s robot assistant in exclusivity.
Disney sustained exclusivity
Bergman and D’Amaro, along with Dana Walden, Bergman’s Cochair, both sailed as possible descendants for Disney Bob Iger’s CEO. Their public appearances are regularly examined for those which mean who may be ahead in the competition of success.
Both men took the curves by finishing each other’s sentences to emphasize that Disney’s great and sustainable exclusivities are the product of cooperation in teams and work powered by technology but rooted in stories.
According to Nielsen, Disney’s Streaming Business Trails Giants Digital YouTube and Netflix in terms of viewing time. But none conform to the ability to build Disney’s franchise, which has created a diverse global entertainment empire.
“We really have something for everyone, with so many ways to try it,” D’Amaro said, calling this a “unprecedented era” of creating attractions, shows and games. “This also has strong links with our audience, which is so unique to Disney. We are constantly developing new tools that allow us to tell our stories in even more convincing ways.”
Disney’s back-scenes appearance comes after one of its biggest, universal competitors is also expanding within the country. This May, the new universal orlando resorts park, Epic Universe, will welcome guests to explore five special “world” – including Super Nintendo World.
Disney executives have navigated as to how the arrival of the EPIC universe can affect the company, including during a 2024 profits call when CFO Hugh Johnston said it could be “useful”.
“The early reservations we have next summer are actually positive,” Johnston said.
